AERO TECHNOLOGIES (PVT) LTD is a private Company Limited by Shares. It was formed in the year 1998 and incorporated under the Companies Act XVIII of 1994. The abbreviation used for Aero- Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd. is ATL

The objects of the Company are to build, charter, lease, buy, sell and repair any kind of aircraft, helicopter Jet Plane and aviation management, purchase and sale of all kind of spare parts, accessories and material thereof. It also carries on business of Travel agency, broker for sale or purchase, freight; impart training to pilots, technicians and others. It is doing business of general carrier of Cargo by air as and when required. Air navigation, air transportation and carriers of passengers, goods, and cargo in the air are also the activities of the company. It establishes hangar, workshop for assembling, repairing, erecting and landing of aircraft, seaplane or helicopter. The business of the Company is being managed by the Board of Directors

.At present ATL has taken one helicopter with which started helicopter operation with effect from March 2000. Since then it has made steady progress. It is carrying on its operation mainly for the purpose of carrying passengers, VIPs, CIPs, medical evacuation, casualty evacuation, industrial site visit, etc. ATL is Dhaka based with its operation covering all over Bangladesh. Detachments are likely to operate from Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and Sylhet.

ATL is fully managed and operated by Bangladeshi nationals and bring expatriate as and when required. It has full set up pilots, engineers, technicians from Ex- Bangladesh Air Force personnel who have 20 to 25 years experience in helicopter flying repair and maintenance. Hangar and maintenance. facilities are being provided by the Flying Academy and General Aviation of Bangladesh. ATL is developing its own hangar facilities for maintenance of aircraft.

ATL has been successfully operating the French built helicopter type-AS-350B manufactured in 1991 for three years. The helicopter is in brand new condition and was in corporate use. It is very smooth, comfortable and safe for flying. It is fully air-conditioned, highly stable and all time in VIP configuration. The helicopter may be used for multipurpose missions. Starting from transportation of important personnel (WIPNIPs, foreign dignitaries, CIPs and all respectable citizens of home & abroad), emergency patient evacuation, aerial survey, filming, relief work, pleasure trips including bridal parties, visit to places of interest (tourist spots), patient evacuation to Calcutta & other places, etc.

The helicopter has a capacity to fly with 5 (five) passengers and one Pilot. This can fly at a speed of 240 k.m per hour and has a range of 740 k.m. The helicopter is rented on hourly basis. The fare is reasonably chief. A TL is trying its best to keep the rent as low as possible without compromising the safety factors. The landing place is Flying Academy Hangar at ZIA International Airport. Booking is to be made 2 days prior to the flight day with full details of passengers.

Our helicopter services is equivalent to the services available in the developed world. We have a plan to increase our fleet with more helicopters within this year.

Our helicopter is being maintained by local and foreign engineers at the highest possible Airworthiness set by ICAO. Our reliability record is praiseworthy and it was highly appreciated by most of our local and overseas clients. Recently a group of evaluation team from U. K. assessed our Company and they gave 10 out of 10 and remarked about the maintenance of helicopter to their highest satisfaction. The Evaluation Team also passed a remark that they normally did not give 10 out of 10 to any Company. But they are so impressed that they gave full marks in assessing our Company. The council of International awards has also recently awarded our Company the "International award for best performance 2001 - 2002".

We also operate fixed wing aircraft for domestic as well as cargo operation. At present we are operating 3 AN - 26 on wet lease for carrying shrimp fires within the country. We are Bangladesh registered Company and we can provide more facilities to the Oil and Gas companies such as operating the helicopter in any party of Bangladesh, day and night flying, one time clearance from DGFI NSI and other departments, etc.
